Out of Town guest gift baskets are a great way to welcome your wedding guests who have made the trip to attend your wedding.  They not only serve as a special "thank you" for making the trip, but also can make their stay a bit more comfortable.  Below are some ideas of items to include in your out of town guest gift baskets as well as some unique packaging ideas.

General Items to Include

• A map of the area where they are staying.  These maps can usually be picked up for free from your local Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
• A map showing how to get from their hotel to the wedding events that they are invited to such as the rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, wedding reception, etc.
• An itinerary of the wedding events that they are invited to.
• A list of phone numbers and addresses of local friends and family members that they may want to contact while in town.
• Include a  personal note from you and your fiancee thanking your guests for making the trip to join you for your wedding celebration.
• Some homemade goodies such as cookies or muffins.
• Bottled water or cans of soda.

Special Items to Include for Adults

• A bottle of wine.
• Some nice soap for them to use in place of what the hotel provides.
